Sunset Moth Necklace (top wing)

The butterfly pendant is made with a genuine butterfly wing encased between two pieces of glass and soldered with lead free solder.

The stainless steel, non tarnish chain is 16” and is completed with a small lobster claw clasp. If you would like a different length chain, please leave a note in the order summary window. The maximum chain length is 20”. The lead free solder is made of alloys containing tin as the base metal, along with other elements like silver, copper, bismuth, and antimony to improve its properties. If you have allergies to any of these metals I don't recommend wearing this product.

Please note that each butterfly wing is unique, resulting in slight variations in color, size, and pattern, making each necklace truly one-of-a-kind. As an artist, I highly value sustainable and ethical practices. The wings are carefully sourced from various butterfly preservations around the world. The Sunset Moth (Chrysiridia rhipheus) is native to Madagascar and is known for its incredibly vibrant, iridescent wings. The color doesn’t come from pigment, but from microscopic scales that reflect and bend light, creating its metallic rainbow effect. Each pendant features a single Sunset Moth wing with naturally different colors on each side, one shows more green and the other more blue. The reversible design lets you wear the necklace with either side facing forward.
